The immigrant community welcomed a major new resource this week as the Metropolitan Community Welcome Center opened its doors.

Staffed by certified immigration lawyers and fluent speakers of Spanish, Bengali, Arabic, and Mandarin, the center aims to eliminate costly predatory legal services.

'Navigating the legal immigration pathway shouldn't bankrupt working families,' stated executive director Miriam O'Connor.
